Our students have been getting into the holiday spirit with some amazing hands-on learning experiences!
In Ms. Mitchell's class, students tackled a festive team building challenge: stacking 4 marshmallows using only candy canes! It took creativity, collaboration, and a steady hand, but our students showed incredible teamwork. 🍬
Meanwhile, our STEM students got competitive with Mrs. Sedig as they worked to build the longest paper chain possible. The results were impressive! 📏🔗
We love seeing our students work together, problem-solve, and have fun while learning. Way to go, Dreaming Summit! 💙

🌭🎉 Top Dog Hot Dog Picnic! Our students earned an "A" rating, and we celebrated in style with delicious hot dogs and hamburgers picnic style. So proud of our Dreaming Summit students and teachers! Today was about coming together to recognize everyone's hard work! Way to go, Top Dogs! A huge thank you to our Fire Department and Sheriff's Office for grilling at our picnic—we couldn't have done it without you!

🌎🔬 Amazing work happening in Ms. Frasier's class! Our young scientists have been categorizing different types of matter found on Earth - from rocks and water to air and living things. Through this hands-on investigation, they're discovering Earth's four major systems: the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere. Bulldog Dash - Fun Run 2025

Our Fun Run is coming up and we need an amazing crew of volunteers to make it a success! We’re looking for help with:
• Set-Up (tables, signage, obstacle prep)
• Obstacle Station Crew (cheer on runners, give directions, etc)
• Tear-Down (clean up, pack equipment)

🏔️ Our second graders have been exploring landforms in science, and they brought their learning to life in the most creative way!
The students sculpted their own landform models, carefully shaping mountains, valleys, plateaus, and more. Then painting their creations to make them look realistic!
The kids were so proud of their work, and honestly, we were too! 💙

Mrs. Mazon's class made pancakes as part of their life skills lesson! 🥞
Students took turns measuring, stirring, and cooking. They practiced following directions, working together, and communicating with peers. Everyone enjoyed making delicious pancakes!

We transformed our classrooms into incredible learning spaces and celebrated with an unforgettable rock 'n roll party! 🎉 From decorated doors to epic dance moves, our students and teachers brought the energy ALL DAY LONG!

Join us in supporting our community by donating non-perishable food items to the DSE food pantry, which serves students and families in need.
October 13th - October 31st

Food items needed:
Breakfast - bisquick, breakfast bars, cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup
Lunch - fruit snacks, jelly, peanut butter, protein bars
Dinner - can chicken, can tuna, pasta, spaghetti sauce
