Please read these Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about Litchfield Elementary School District's work related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Families, staff, and community members are invited to join us in focusing on academic excellence, well being and preparedness for all students.
Join Superintendent Gunning for a Community Chat to learn, share ideas, and offer feedback. We will continue gathering feedback through the end of the school year and will share revised goals this summer. The community will have an opportunity to share feedback about the revised goals and they will also be presented for discussion at a Governing Board meeting.
LESD Equity Statement
The equity statement will be discussed (not voted on) at the Governing Board study session at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 27. The study session will be available on our YouTube channel and is open to the public. (There will not be any public comments at the study session. Face coverings will be required. Disruptions can result in removal.) Any changes to the equity statement would need to be presented during a regular Governing Board meeting and adopted by the Governing Board.
